War on bookies. The sportsbook files.

They build the hurdles. We fight through them.

The war doesn't start at your first bet. It starts long before. I have been fighting the bookies for more than 20 years, and a lot of it is documented. These are the files: dated, with the sportsbooks' own words and the evidence next to them. Facts, not insults. I'm going through my archives and releasing them slowly.

Before your first bet

Bookmakers have budgets nobody can match. Their names are on the shirts of your favourite teams, in leagues all over the world. They pay for ads everywhere, and for posts that make betting look like easy money. And when someone wins, they put it on a poster.

The bus stop ad (Greece, 2020)

Greece's biggest bookmaker put a €100 ticket that won €11,935 on a poster, as proof of how lucky its customers are. It was the same three-game combo I had posted at odds of 109, and it wasn't luck.

"Zero chance you can lose" (X, 2026)

A post with more than 212,000 views says that if you know what you're doing, you can't lose long term. It skips the hardest part, winning at all, and every hurdle the bookies build after it.

The top of the list. Paid for. (comparison sites, 2026)

"Best bookmaker" lists are paid by the brands they rank. One bettor trusted a new name near the top, deposited £1,000, never placed a bet, and got £950 back.

$3 into $25,000. Paid to say it. (paid winners, 2026)

A casino win with 756,000 views on X. Open the profile, and the casino is paying the account. Every loss-back offer admits the players are losing.

At the counter

Your bet is accepted and your money is taken. Then, if it wins, the price can change after the fact.

161 bets. One game. Every price taken back. (bet365, 2012)

A live game priced with the teams the wrong way round. A friend bet into it 161 times. The next day bet365 sent 161 emails: 131 bets settled at lower odds, 30 voided.

When you win

Win too often and the sportsbook limits your stakes, closes your account, or both. Their rules always allow it.

Closed within 48 hours (BetBTC, 2021)

"There was an error on the voided terms," they wrote, and in the same email closed my account. The full story is under Fighting back.

Pending approval. And a red button. (cancel withdrawal, 2026)

A $187,915 withdrawal left waiting, with a Cancel button right under it. The wait is the trick: the cravings come back, and one tap puts the money back in play.

Fighting back

It isn't only one side. Over the years I fought back too, and those stories belong here as well.

Odds of 101 on the wrong team (bet365, 2019)

Two Malaysian teams had swapped names, and bet365 priced the much stronger one as a huge outsider. I found the mistake, bet it quietly and told no one. They won 83–22, and bet365 paid every ticket. A few quiet bets, not a flood. Mistakes like this are extremely rare, and ordinary bettors almost never see one.

The bet was too good. So they took it back. (BetBTC, 2020–21)

A Bitcoin sportsbook whose rules let it cancel a bet if the market agreed with you. Three voided winners and a €300 fee "error", each paid back only after I complained. Then they closed my account.

Send me your case

Almost every bettor who wins for long enough has a story like these. Most of them stay in a private inbox, and that suits the bookies just fine. Send me yours. If the documents back it up, it goes in the files next to mine.

There is no reward for now. What you get is exposure: your case read by people who bet, under your name, a nickname or no name at all. You choose. Nobody pays to get into the files, and nobody pays to get out of them.

It doesn't have to be your own case. If you spot one in public, a post, a screenshot, a review or an article that shows one of their tricks, send me the link. The best ones go in the files, with credit to whoever posted it.

Send the bookie, the dates and whatever you still have: emails, chat logs, screenshots, bet slips. Write to contact@jiminjibao.com or message me on Telegram. Every case is checked against its documents before anything is published, and personal details are always blurred.

Don't even start.
